Reverse Confetti Spring Fling Bloghop!

Hello! Some of the Reverse Confetti Confetti Crew are hopping today, celebrating Spring with some great giftie projects.

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti Blog - you'll want to hop along and visit with everyone for the chance to WIN $15 to spend in the Reverse Confetti store!

It's teacher gift season - so out came my Tagged Tote Confetti Cuts to make a gift box for a special teacher!

The sentiment is from the wonderful Roundabout Additions stamp set. I've cut it with the largest circle from Scallops 'n Circles. Behind the focal sentiment is the Diagonal Stripe Pretty Panels Confetti Cuts and the Triple Chevies Confetti Cuts

I've added some gold accents with the Hello Confetti Cuts and an arrow from the Documented Confetti Cuts.

It's time to hop on over and visit Leigh now - Enjoy!

Paper Sweeties Featured Designer!

I'm excited to be the Featured Designer in the Spotlight at Paper Sweeties today! I had a lot of fun with some great stamps, dies and fantastic embellishments!

If you're visiting me from Paper Sweeties today, welcome! Thanks so much for stopping by! You'll find my Facebook page here and You Tube channel here

I really love how this card turned out - grey and yellow make me so happy, and I added some mint for a fresh, spring like card.

I love banner stamps - I've used the Hello Friend stamp set here, and cut the banner with the Be Happy Sweet Cuts. I added a little copic shading and curved my sentiment on the block before stamping.

The Be Happy Sweet Cuts set had these sweet little stars, I cut them from glitter cardstock and added them to these fun paper straws in mint (I think I bought every color!) I've also used some of the gorgeous Mint Seam Binding which is hand stained - so fun! I added some extra sparkle with the delightful Cookie Dough sequins, which are flower shaped!

Thanks for stopping by! You'll find all these pretty products in store at Paper Sweeties, and can find even more inspiration on the Paper Sweeties Blog!

Viva la Verve - You Make Me Happy

Hello! I'm happy to be hostesses for this week's Viva la Verve sketch - it's been awhile since I've had time to play along with VLV, moving sure puts a kink in your crafting time!

Here's my sketch...

And here's my take on it...

I inked up the Rain or Shine stamp set for the first time - I paper pieced the umbrella, because who could resist a yellow polka dot umbrella?!

I've also used the Classy Label Die and Pennant Trim Die. I hope you'll play along with us this month for a chance to win a great Verve prize!

Retro Sketches #160

Hello! It's been awhile since I've played along with the Retro Sketches challenge, #160 seemed like a great kick off point for some yummy new Reverse Confetti goodies!

Pineapples are EVERYWHERE at the moment. Seriously, try looking in a design store without seeing them on everything. So, why not a baby card?!

I've combined Pineapples Aplenty with the Fancy Words Confetti Cuts and matching Fancy Word Coordinates. The layers were cut with the Documented, Shakers 'n Frames and Tag Me Confetti Cuts. The papers were scraps from my basket :-)

Thanks for stopping by!

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Bouquet

It's time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

We have a new sponsor, Penny Black, for the Curtain Call Inspiration: Bouquet!  A randomly selected participant in the Bouquet challenge will have their choice of a Penny Black gift certificate, while the LEAD will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge!

I loved working with the You & Me stamp set! I inked the stamp directly with Distress Markers, then went over it with more ink and a water pen to soften the look. I inked in a background and left the layer  wavy to match the tissue paper background.

Make sure you visit each of the designers' blogs for more inspiration!

Reverse Confetti April Release Blog Hop!

Hello! It's the 8th and that means it's Reverse Confetti blog hop time! Even better, the April release is available right here, right NOW!!

You should have arrived here from Erin's blog, if you need to start at the beginning of the hop, jump on over to the Reverse Confetti blog.

I'm sharing a card that combines lots of the new Confetti Cuts and a couple of sentiments today - Are you sick of me saying it yet? Reverse Confetti products coordinate SO well!

The main sentiment from Shine From Within (such an uplifting set!) is stamped on a Pina Colada Quick Card Panel. I've used one of the Pineapples Aplenty as an accent, I just trimmed off the top of the pineapple after cutting with the Pineapples Aplenty Confetti Cuts.

I've also used the new Layered Banner Duo Confetti Cuts along with the previously released Double Banner Garland Confetti Cuts. The XOXO is from the new Fancy Words Confetti Cuts

Inside the card I used another fabulous sentiment from Shine From Within.

It's time to hop on over and visit with Laurie now! Happy hopping and shopping!
